Son transcripciones bastante precisas de las grabaciones publicadas en forma de disco en su momento, pero el propio Winston en el prólogo invita a los intérpretes a improvisar libremente a partir de ellas.

This is a beautiful book. I’ve loved George Winston for many years, especially the December album. I couldn’t find it transcribed for piano but Thanksgiving is in this selection. It’s good value for money. I like that the transcriptions have been well done and reflect George Winston’s own interpretations. Indeed some are quite challenging to play! I will get hours of joy from this book.
