Great strings, however I received a nickel A string, rather than bronze as it should have been. Must have been a packaging error. Had to restring my guitar with this set as it was all I had at the time and of course, the A sounds very different to the rest of the strings. A bit of an inconvenience, but never mind. Wouldn’t mind a replacement A string, but obviously can’t return the strings now.

I have a small body carbon fiber guitar. It is a super super bright guitar and I have been searching for ways to warm it up. These strings did the trick. The bass strings are very bassy and have no metallic sound whatsoever. These strings will warm up a guitars tone for sure. They are also softer on your fingers. They last about as long as the average uncoated set. I got about a 40 days lifespan out of these strings.

I like that they make 12's in silk strings.

These have the bronze tone but the silk dullness. so perhaps its good for singer players who want the tone but not so loud. I would say the EQ is scooped mids.The tension is more like medium and not too easy to bend. and its not very loud - can i say it again. It depends on your pick, the thinner the better.

Was shocked to find this out just upon arrival. I certainly believe that i'm in for a compensation/refund. This pack of 6 is simply unusable, HAVING ONLY THE FIRST 2 STRINGS IN IT! never happened to me before.
