It was easy to replace myself and does its job very well, actually holds the cable in place quite tightly. A Torx screwdriver was needed.My original power jack was loose on my XPS 7590. The plastic connector bit that holds it in place with a screw had broken off, and the cable kept falling out. Recently it even sometimes stopped charging while plugged in.
