Pros: hangs in closet on a wood hanger right at the foot of our changing table. Keeps away the smell of 20ish cloth diapers in all stages of soiled. Roll up and gently drop diapers in to avoid soiling the bag itself. We change the bag out (about every 3-4 days) and it easily done with one hand - it unzips and all the diapers fall out the bottom. Excellent solution for the cloth diapering parent.Cons: I wish it were easier to hang from the top inside the bag a charcoal bag or similar. While we only get a whaft of ammonia smell when putting new diapers in, being able to hang a moisture or odor absorber would help.Net net: already bought a second one for our changing table on another floor. Worth the price.Pro tips: Treat gingerly when washing it - soak & handwash, airdry for sure. Hang a charcoal odor and moisture bag inside to extend the bag’s life and improve efficacy.

UPDATE: I love this diaper pail. It's well designed except for one thing: the little string that supports the weight of the pail when it's full gets caught on other stuff in the washer and mine totally detached on one side after 3 months of use. It's no big deal to repair it, but I do think it's a design flaw. I honestly don't even think it's necessary to have the little string. My husband never hooks it onto the hanger when he hangs the bag. Other than that, it's great. The snaps around the hanger keep it secure, and the string holds the pail outward so it doesn't sag, leaving the slit to put the diapers in accessible. The zip bottom not only makes it easy to unload into the washer but while it's being washed the two holes allow water to pass through and not fill up the bag. I love the gray color (it comes in others) and it's the perfect length to just hang off the side of my changing table (I'm using a sturdy wood hanger like in the picture) or on the towel rack in the bathroom. It contains the poo and pee smells really well. Only on the third day (wash day) can I smell a faint ammonia smell when I get really close. It's super convenient to dump the diapers in the washer as I have a rack above the washer/dryer to hang it on, so I just unzip the bottom and throw it in the wash. Dries pretty quickly, and doesn't get stinky super easily. I sometimes throw in some baking soda or a cloth wipe with essential oil on it. Sometimes wash it every other time I was the diapers, so every 6th day, and it stays pretty un-smelly.

I've had this thing for 4 months. Been using it for almost 3 and I even rotate it with a second one and it's already fallen apart. The zipper broke and the top plastic part that holds the shape has already come out. It's a shame because the product really work well at keeping the stink out. I just can afford to keep replacing them.

When I purchased this it was still fairly new and didn't have more than a couple reviews but I'm very happy that I went with it! It's very convenient, works great, and so far with diapers from an ebf baby I haven't had an issue with odors at all - and it hangs on the back of my glider so I'm often very close to it! The only thing I didn't consider was that it gets quite heavy as it fills up, so make sure you have something sturdy to hang it from :)

I was so excited when I saw this hanging diaper pail. I thought it would be the answer to all my probelms. I'd hang in next to the washer and it would be out of the way, contain the stink and very roomy, right?... Wrong! It only hangs on a regular clothes hanger, which will inevitably break as it get heavier when you fill it with dirty diapers. I even bought the super sturdy hangers and they just kept on breaking, and it wasn't even ever more than half full! I also tried wooden coat hangers and that broke too. Then, to wash I had to unzip a lil and turn the whole thing inside out or else soap suds would collect and stay inside. It says you can machine dry, but I now know through experience that you should not machine dry PUL. The only think I appreciated about this is that it contained the stink, it did do that. But I'd have to wash it every single time I did diaper laundry leaving me with no other bag to use while it was in the wash. I certainly wasn't going to drop another $30 on a second bag. The most unforgivable thing about it was that the boning rod that created the roundish opening popped out of its seem! So basically it broke after only 1 month of use (and maybe a handful of washings and line drying). I can't have a diaper pail be that frail and need that much care. As soon as it broke I sent it back... Thanks Amazon for giving me my money back. Would not recommend. Grovia usually makes great products. Don't know what happened here.
