I am happy to recommend the GS-10 Emergency Ration pack/s, despite a small difference from some of its competitors; there are no added vitamins. Considering the use-case and the impressive shelf life of GS-10, I can understand. As, for example, vitamins like C and A are prone to oxidation, which could compromise (for example) the longevity. Anyway, this product is definitely worth considering, and here is why;🚚 Packing and shipping --The GS-10 sent by Lebenskraft is very securely packed and shipped. The packages remain firmly in place, securely wrapped with an additional layer of wrapping paper. The company makes sure the packages will be received safe and sound.Each box weighs about 500g and contains 9 packages, with each package holding 2 smaller bars (18 half-bars total). It's worth a one-day ration. But I couldn't even get through one whole package after a day!! Very good!🏋️ Weight and packaging --With about 500g per ration package it equals most rations out there. The rations are well packed; 18 small bars divided in 9 packages/bars (2 bars per package/bar). When opening the greatly packed outer vaccum-sealed package, you can hear the air come in.Even when you get through that, you'll have to get through another (smaller) layer of defense; it's sealed so good for longevity that it also ensures you will have the best optimal taste and effect! I can only commend this way of making sure you'll get the right product.🍴 The tryouts! --And there we go! At first I noticed the GS-10 crumbles easily. Personally this tells me it's made of only the few ingredients you'll see on the package, but very tightly compressed. This is a good thing since it makes eating the bar (out of your hands, dry) very easily (small bites) as well as making lovely porridge from it; there were NO lumps in the porridge when adding boiled water.Cutting the bars (which you basically don't have to, but hey, I took one for the team!) is just as easy. But because it's very compressed, you won't get through just like that without breaking or crumbling it. I think having the two bars (2 pieces in 1 package, out of the 9 packages) is just good enough. You don't have to cut the bars at all.🍪 Taste --LIKE COOKIES! It's sweet, I have to admit. They taste quite a bit like Spritz, but less sweet. It's an easy chew and an easy swallow. In both eating it dry as in porridge. If you like to experiment with taste, adding fruits, cinnamon or even jam is recommended. I've tried only those, but in each case it was an amazing taste!🫃 Was I full? --Well, I couldn't finish one package throughout the day. Having it as porridge already makes you very satisfied for quite some time. 9 bars throughout a normal day, that would be about 1 bar per 1 to 1.5 hour. If eating slowly, you probably won't even get to that. So I was definitely full and couldn't eat a full box by myself. As a sport enthusiast as myself, I find that very interesting!🎒 Travel or as emergency ration? --I took them mostly as emergency ration to keep in my backpack. Since the great shelf life, secure packing and no compromise on taste, it's a great addition to your emergency backpack. Most of us have seen the tragedy that is suddenly happening out there. Being prepared is something I'd like to be. GS-10 is helping with that!BUT - a good friend and I have been wildcamping over the weekend and I took a few of the "older" rations I had to try it out. I can, without a doubt, say they obviously fit well in both a backpacker's backpack and a small backpack (Rucksack). There shouldn't be any doubt of 'you' crushing the bars. This is (almost) impossible by design of the package!❤️ Overall - RECOMMENDED!Definitely worth the 5 stars, despite it not having added vitamins as mentioned above. But, even tough vitamins are crucial in emergencies, the emergency ration does what it's used for; emergency (and camping, backpacking, you name it!). Having additional vitamins in certain situations is obviously important and should be part of your emergency package, but it's not as important as surviving a few days. And I believe GS-10 has this perfectly balanced out and well thought of.I am very happy with the package and will definitely add some more!

Verpackt sind die Notfallriegel sehr kompakt in 500g Tagesrationen, diese ist noch einmal in zwei Riegel unterteilt.Die Notfallnahrung kann entweder direkt trocken als Riegel gegessen werden oder in heißem Wasser aufgelöst werden. Der Geschmack als Riegel ist OK. Er erinnert ein wenig an die bekannten Butterkekse. Aber auch als Porridge mit heißem Wasser aufgelöst akzeptabel. Eine Notsituation ist halt kein Gourmet-Restaurant ;^)Die Riegel enthalten Palmöl, was aus meiner Sicht nicht unbedingt sein müsste. Was mich aber mehr stört ist, dass man zwar die notwendigen Kalorien zu sich nimmt, aber keine Vitamine oder Spurenelemente zugesetzt wurden. Wenn man sich längere Zeit davon ernähren muss, führt das unweigerlich zu Mangelerscheinungen.Die Haltbarkeit ist mit 7 Jahren angegeben, was ich ein wenig kurz finde. Gleichzeit wird aber auch angegeben, dass der Riegel 30 Jahre genießbar bleibt. Was jetzt?

Bin mal neugierig auf etwas Neues gewesen und hab mich deswegen für dieses Produkt entschieden.War ein sehr guter Griff - Versand/Lieferung war superflott und das Paket wurde wurde gut geschützt verpacktMinimal weniger Kalorien als Mitbewerber, schmeckt hervorragend - Empfehlung: mit Milch/Zimt, aber auch sehr gut auch ohne zusätzliche Flüssigkeit zu essen - geschmacklich empfinde ich es etwas weniger süß als die bekannteren Marken, was mir aber ganz gut passt.Die Riegel sind zu 9 Stk./Schachtel verpackt, jedes einzeln in steifem Papier, gemeinsam in Plastikfolie und dann noch in Vakuumfolie verschweißt - das lässt sich gut einbunkern oder auch perfekt in einen Rucksack packen. Bin öfters zu ausgedehnten Bogentouren unterwegs, da kommt sowas immer mit.Was mir gleich beim Aufmachen des Kartons aufgefallen ist: alle Packungen sind sind neu - das ist nicht selbstverständlich!Fazit: schneller Versandgute WareVernünftiger PreisDas ist alles, was für eine 5-Sterne-Bewertung Notwendig ist =) - Top *****

Keine frischen, Produktion 2022 somit nur 5 Jahre MHD. Witzigerweise mit 7 Jahren MHD wo andere Hersteller 10-20 Jahre angeben, versprochen werden 30 Jahre aber ob es da die Firma noch gibt ist fraglich.Essbar sind sie auch in 100 Jahren, um das geht es aber nicht!

Insgesamt habe ich einen sehr positiven Eindruck von diesem Produkt, schmeckt gegenüber einem bekannten Mitbewerber in grün-weißer Verpackung etwas frischer und natürlicher. Soll zwar bei Notnahrung, welche Jahre bis Jahrzehnte lang haltbar ist, nachrangig sein, aber die Riegel schmecken ganz angenehm keksartig.Der Verpackung kann ich ebenfalls vertrauen - Umkarton, dann Vakuum Versiegelung, dann nochmal in Plastikfolie und zu guter letzt einzeln in Papier - das sollte unter allen Umständen dicht halten. Kann ich als ganzes empfehlen!
