I bought this because I was tired of the very poor quality helping hands that are magnetic and or plastic. The problem with those thins is that the magnets aren’t strong enough and the crocodile clips are really poor quality. They are worse than useless. Even the ones from good manufacturers are bad. This thing, on the other hand, is absolutely brilliant. It’s solid, heavy, and has decent clips. Fantastic! The only problem is the price, which is ridiculous, but, well, if you want a decent product there is no other choice.The clip points are replaceable, which is a really nice feature.They are a little rough so one of the first things I did was to cover them with some heat-shrink.The only negative, other than the price, is that it isn't supplied with the hex keys to undo stuff. The clip points require 2mm and everything else requires 3mm.Recommended
