A very good baking powder.Baking powder is basically sodium bicarbonate and an acid to make it 'fizz'. If you put some into water, the water will gently bubble. This is what it does to your baking. It aerates it, to make things such as sponges lighter.It is already added to self raising flour. If you only have plain flour, than adding 2 tsps of this baking powder to 8oz (225g) of plain flour will make self raising flour.Having the baking powder separate, gives you more control over how much aeration you give your baking recipes. Although too much will lead to a collapsed cake.The tub contains 170g, which is approximately 55 teaspoons, so should last most of us a long time.It is gluten free and suitable for vegans.The tub and lid are recyclable, but unfortunately not the outer plastic sleeve.Hopefully something they will change.When I finally finish the tub, I will happily be buying again.I hope you found this review helpful.

I like this product, but I really wish it came in better packaging. packing was damaged , completely came apart in shipping. it works well for all our baking.

I used this to make my keto recipe cakes and bread.The images are of keto recipes using almond flour which rely on whisked egg and baking powder to get a nice airy texture to my baking.Shown are my lemon curd sponge cake, my keto Christmas cake and my microwave keto bread.Very happy with this product. My baking rises nicely and there's no after taste or side effects.
