Tolles Teil. Optisch wie Klanglich.

Ottimo preamplificatore valvolare che non ti aspetti di trovare a un prezzo così ragionevole; considerando che per un buon "pre" occorre spendere almeno 10/15 e più volte tanto.Comprato e utilizzato nel mio impianto vintage così composto: piatto Akai AP-206 C (del 1978), ricevitore Bluetooth 1 Mii, finale di potenza Yamaha MX 1000 e casse acustiche B&W 801 Matrix seconda serie.Il preamplificatore arriva con le valvole già regolate dal costruttore, quindi sono soltanto da assemblare (soltanto se cambiate con altre, per chi volesse fare un successivo up grade, allora sono da regolare nuovamente).Elenco quello che ho apprezzato di più e di meno di seguito:1) Costruzione solida e robusta (in metallo) del pre.2) Manopole e pulsante di accensione di buona qualità.3) Ingressi e uscite posteriori di buon livello.4) Qualità sonora molto ben definita, con scena ben collocata, spaziosa e dettagliata.5) Suoni medio/alti (con alti ben definiti).6) Bassi potenti, ma mai invadenti.Quello che ho apprezzato un po' meno:1) Levette per accendere variare o spegnere la colorazione delle valvole e selezionare l'ingresso (Phono/Aux).2) Pulsante posteriore per selezionare MM/MC del giradischi.3) Manopola del volume che entra in funzione dopo qualche millimetro di rotazione.4) Mancanza di istruzioni in italiano.5) Alimentatore in dotazione (comunque adatto al pre).6) Rumore di fondo, percepibile dalle casse, ma che non infastidisce.7) Con il volume a zero, se inserita la sorgente si sente il brano in sottofondo (ma non disturba assolutamente).Impressioni d'ascolto: complessivamente in grado di stupirmi, sia visivamente per il fascino delle valvole e dalle dimensioni molto compatte, che per la qualità del suono che diventa sempre più caldo con l'utilizzo (ma già da subito è meraviglioso).Conclusione: sono rimasto stupito, una sonorità che ho avuto modo di riscontrare in preamplificatori alla lunga molto blasonati.Non ho provato le cuffie, in quanto preferisco l'ascolto tramite le casse.

Bought as an extention to my ZEN DAC 3 headphone amp and they perform perfectly together. Zen connects to my Mac through usbc port and the tube amp connects to the Zen Dac via the audio cables.The sound from this adds a whole new dimension of sound to the music. It increases the sound stage and adds extra warmth and punch to the music. With the adjustable bass and treble you can afjust to your liking but as the source is coming through the Zen Dac you are benefitting from the Burr brown chipset that comes with the Zen.Initially I constantly switched between the two systems when trying new songs and artists but everytime the combo sound is far superior. I also updated the audio cable to my headphones (only £15) but again this added more to the sound.I have been a fan of tubes and have several units over the years but for those on a budget I would highly recommend going for this unit as an addition to an exciting DAC system.For thos interested I am using a mac m4 to a Zen dac 3 to the Tube amo and then through a 3,5mm ausio cable to a set of Focal Bathys, bypassing the inbuildt zac mode.I would highly recommend this unit and it looks great too - the lights are a bit gimmicky but nice to have I guess as it adds to the fun.Great sounding and highly recommended - just scroll up and buy one - But remember you wuill need a source to feed the audio in.

What can I say, only WOW, I would give this item 10 stars if I could, this has brought my system to life, the sound quality is fantastic, I would definitely recommend this pre-amp to anyone.

Bis jetzt begeistert von dem Teil da ich 2 Plattenspieler damit betreiben kann ! Angeschlossen am Verstärker perfekt!Hatte vorher einen Fosi der ist auch nicht schlecht aber die Röhrenoptik begeistert!
