As the plural form suggested, i have thought it will be 2 items in the package, but it weren't. Only one piece in the box. Otherwise, it looks and feels good (i use with a heavy 6-string bass guitar)

I have updated this review after having these pads in constant use since receiving them. I was originally concerned at their value for money, but after extensive use these are without question the most comfortable and useful pads that I've had. The material is soft and flexible but is holding up well to a lot of heavy use. The small bumps on the pads feel gel like and cushion any strong 'pulls' on my shoulder straps very well indeed.At the time of ordering, these Houson shoulder pads are priced at £9.99.The material and construction feel good and I do like that they are very flexible, even the edges feel soft. There is a D ring but only on one end. The pads fasten onto your shoulder strap by means of Velcro flaps on the top side, so I've no real idea why there's a D ring at all. I do like the design of the pads on the side to be in contact with my shoulder as they are 'bumpy' i.e. many little pads instead of one large one. I'm guessing that that will allow air to flow a little more. In contact with the shoulder I have to be fair and say that the pads do feel very comfortable.These are excellent pads. Their flexibility, comfort and gel pads justify the outlay. Recommended.
