They are made of wood and metal.I tested one on a favourite jumper that is beginning to look a bit scruffy because of the different coloured bobbles. The sleeves are navy blue but the body is paler. The white stripes attracted navy bobbles from the sleaves. In the attached photo I have used the comb on the right part of the white stripe but not yet on the left part so you can see the difference. It took a few seconds to do that small area so shouldn't take long to make my jumper look like new again.Being so small they don't take much room so I can keep one in the bedroom, one downstairs and one in my bag so I should always have one to hand.I think this useful set is definitely worth a fiver.
