They flex under weight and can only support lightweight flash gear.The thumb screws are easy to turn, which adds some convenience during setup. However, they are retained by small rubber rings that can come off easily during use. These rubber rings also prevent the gears from seating directly on the brackets, reducing their stability.The main support nuts in the middle are melted into the plastic and are not thick. Overall, these brackets are not reliable for professional use. They feel more like toys than practical photo gear.

I ordered this bracket set for use with two cameras to create 3D photos, as most 3D cameras have lenses that are too close together to create decent depth. The description includes several bullet points, including:"5. DURABLE AND STURDY: Crafted from high-quality aluminum, this dual flash bracket is lightweight yet strong, offering long-lasting durability."However, they are, in fact, made of plastic, and very flexible/flimsy plastic at that. There is no way I will trust them to hold even small flashes, let alone DSLRs with lenses.Please just skip these things. Your equipment and wallet will thank you for it.

For the money, if you don't often need this kind of setup, these will work. Keep in mind you are getting what you pay for here - these are plastic. Thick plastic, sure, but still no match for the aluminum ones. Like I say, it you have some light LEDs or small speedlights you want to work with these will do the job.

I like the fact that it comes in two different sizes, that can be used for many diferent situation. To use them with lights, cameras, mics, etc...
