Glad I went for this size, it only just covered my dwarf cherry tree! Year after year I've fought with rolled netting, then came across these and thought it was worth a shot. I had to get a step ladder to drop it over the top but it was a hundred times easier to put on than standard garden netting on a roll! Wholly recommend, but some points:- netting is fragile and snagged a few times on branches and little stubs, I haven't seen any gaping holes but I'm not convinced this will be reusable next year after removal. This isn't so bad financially as you do get two in a pack but Im not a fan of throwaway products- zip is good quality and brilliant for cherry trees. Every year the cherries ripen at different times and with a normal net, once it's removed, the ones you leave to ripen further get eaten by the birds - not this year with the zip! Pull taught to re-zip and you avoid catching the nets frayed edging in the zipper.

Passte zum Ärger der Amseln wunderbar über den Heidelbeerbusch, aber ich wollte eben nicht teilen, bzw. endlich auch einmal selber ernten! Billig zusammengenäht, kein Stopper für den Reißverschluß, ablösende Nylonfäden, Zipperband versehentlich herausgezogen. Kann man alles für Wiederverwendung wieder zusammenfummeln. Ansonsten gut und brauchbar.

Fabric is great quality. The drawstring is good and strong BUT there is a problem with zip. Hence only 4 stars.The zip itself seems to be of good quality but it was sewn in without giving any regard to the fabric it was sewn into. The raw edges need to be heat-sealed or folded and sewn as, at those raw edges along the length of both sides of the zip, it frays into filaments which get caught in the zip making opening and closing very difficult. Without great care, the zip could jam completely. When the zip is opened and you’re harvesting fruit the filaments from the fraying fabric where the zip is sewn get caught upOn the bush and actually cause damage as they’re incredibly difficult to release.Such a shame because all the other seams are finished off beautifully.The problems with the zip mean that it’s doubtful that the netting could be used for more than one season, which makes a very expensive buy.Hope the manufacturer reads the reviews and does something about this problem in the future.
