I’ve been mushroom picking since I was a little girl and these mushrooms you could tell they had worms in them. I could not use any of them as they were all the same. Very disappointing as I couldn’t make out traditional mushroom soup on Christmas Eve!!!

Some worms are to be expected. But certain pieces had 30-40 dried larvae on them. Some other pieces completely crippled by larvae tunnels and full of larvae inside. About 40% pieces in the bag were unacceptable.
