Very interesting idea and the box is of great quality. It's also beautiful to look at - it has nice colour and intricate design. Once the box has been opened, it's possible to re-assemble it, so it can either be re-used by another person, or can serve as an interesting piece of decor on a shelf.The box comes with several prompts as well as a short-cut that allows you to open it quickly if you want to just place a gift inside but don't have enough time to work on all the puzzles. It is still fun to see how all the elements worka even if you are just following the prompts.Inside, there is a bit of room to put a small gift. I've purchased a small decorative locker, and placed the key inside of the box. The recipient was only able to unlock the 2nd gift after opening the box.The puzzles have turned out to be very difficult. It looks possible to unlock the box without prompts, but it's very time consuming. So if you're looking for a challenging puzzle that requires some proper brain work, this box should be perfect.The re-assembly was a bit time-consuming as well - there are a few elements that require careful and precise fitting in order to fall back in their place. But it has worked well - I was able to open and re-assemble two boxes.

Leuke mechanische puzzelbox, erg mooi gemaakt met veel details! Stap voor stap moeten de uitdagende puzzels worden opgelost om de box steeds verder te kunnen openen. Bekijk alle details heel goed, want alles heeft een functie! Ik had 2 uur nodig om de box helemaal te openen, zonder gebruik van de hints. Een aanrader als je van escape room puzzels houdt!

Bevat vrij weinig puzzels. Je haalt er heel snel al de helft vanaf waar je niks mee doet. Had er voor de prijs meer van verwacht

I bought this as a “gift box“ for money for my granddaughter‘s high school graduation gift. I like the idea of an experience rather than just opening a card. Well this is definitely an experience! We went right online to the solutions area so that we could open it and put the money inside. Quick note.. the area to put the gift or money is quite small; I took three dollar bills and had to fold them into fourths in order to put all three in the little gift box area.This puzzle box is a challenge! I don’t know how anybody could do this without hints, or in my case, the outright solution! Even with the outright solution, it was quite challenging, and every movement is quite exacting. So this is not for small children. The level of detail, the engineering that had to take place, and the exact cutting of the wood is extraordinary! Very impressive.
