This is my 4th ISM saddle. I have them on all of my bikes. The PN 1.1 is my favourite. My vital male parts are not bothering by this saddle. If you are new to using an ISM saddle, you may find it takes a little getting used to but persevere and after a few rides you will find that it will be the most comfortable saddle you have ever experienced.

Der Sattel ist grandios! Das Fahrgefühl ist etwas anders, als bei einem klassischen Sattel, da der Druck vom Körper auf den Sattel sich anders verteilt. Im Ergebnis sind jedoch jetzt längste Touren ohne Schmerzen möglich. Selbst in Alltagskleidung sind die Fahrten jetzt entspannter. Wichtig ist die korrekte Positionierung des Sattels. Er darf deutlich stärker geneigt und weit nach hinten gerückt eingestellt werden. Einen bisschen Klagen auf höchsten Niveau gibt es jedoch wegen des hohen Gewichts, das sich jedoch in folgenden Generationen hoffentlich noch deutlich reduzieren wird. Den normallangen Sattel habe ich jetzt vom Trainingsbike auf das Faltrad geschraubt. Hier zeigt sich, dass die Spitzen keine gute Eigenstabilität mitbringen. Die Sattelklemmung klemmt die Spitzen zusammen und macht den Sattel deutlich unangenehmer. Die Klemmung jedoch auf 180° gedreht und schon ist der Sattel wieder wie er soll - aber ich fahre auf dem Kleinen entspannt 1,5-2 km/h, je nach Strecke, schneller. Auf dem Trainingsrad bin ich jetzt zum PS gewechselt, der kürzer, leichter ist und noch agressiver eingestellt werden kann.

Bike saddles are very much an individual choice... what one person finds amazing, another will think is like sitting on a rusty saw blade. It really all comes down to your specific shape and how it fits the saddle. Having said that, this ISM saddle gives a great ride. It was my first split-nose saddle. Although these are typically used by triathletes, I have mine on my "regular' Felt road bike and it works great. The split nose takes just enough pressure off the right (wrong?) places, making it very comfortable to ride for long trips. It is even okay on long trainer rides, where your ass can really take a beating in a short time.The saddle is well made, has just the right amount of cushioning, and is light-weight enough to not make a noticeable difference in the overall weight of the bike. Give it a try, it may or may not be perfect for you, but it's a solid choice and worth trying.

Awesome seat! I was really hurting with tri suit and these make a huge difference. Very comfortable and easy to slide around if you are someone who likes to do that.
