The in socket. Female. Is so stiff. Won’t allow lead to plug in. As others say. So unstable

The female jack wont allow a male jack to push in all the way so unusable. I recommend buying elsewhere.

We live in a townhouse. We have a mini-home theater setup in our upstairs den. Among its other attributes, it features surround sound, the rear speakers mounted on the rear wall.Recently new neighbors moved next door and, due to their jobs, they retire at 8:00 PM. Their bedroom is directly opposite our upstairs den.Therefore, if we watch a movie upstairs and it's somewhat loud, our neighbors are bothered by the sound. They asked us to please refrain from playing movies at loud levels.In addition, even if we are playing a movie relatively softly, many times the rear channels of a movie "explode" with loud sounds. This is the nature of many films.So, to be good neighbors, when we watch movies upstairs nowadays, we use headphones. My wife and I recently bought new ones with longer cords but the cords are "just not long enough" to make wearing them comfortable.To correct this problem, we bought these .Three feet extra is all we need to make wearing the headphones completely comfortable for us. (We had also bought this , an excellent connector, so we can both use our headphones at the same time.)These red extension cables are VERY well-designed and VERY well-constructed from obviously high-quality materials. The headphones' 1/4-inch plugs fits perfectly and tightly into the socket on these cables and these cables' plug fit perfectly into the adapter.I can confidently tell you that these extension cords are SUPERB in every regard (and I am certain that the six-foot ones will be equally as good).Both my wife and I are 100% pleased with these extension cords and I will give them my HIGHEST POSSIBLE RECOMMENDATION to you.Thank you for reading this.Lawrence H. Makes a good, solid connection with my headphones and amplifier. Sound comes through clearly, works great. Would definitely recommend.
