Jobst Brandt Ride Bike

Inspiring, interesting, must read for any adventure cyclist.

Back in the late '80s / early '90s I used to follow Jobst Brandt on the Usenet newsgroup "rec.bicycles", occasionally corresponding with him. He was a very knowledgeable fellow about bicycles, both historically and up to the state of bicycles some 30-40 years ago. He was an avid recreational cyclist, touring extensively in the European Alps. This book contains many of his photos from his bicycle touring adventures. His most famous cycling publication was his book "The Bicycle Wheel", still considered to be one of the most thorough technical authorities on the construction and theories behind the spoked wheel. The book "Ride Bike" is a great tribute to the late Jobst Brandt.
