I am using this in my old Dell T110 II Server re-purposed as an Unraid NAS. It seems to work fine. Oddly, it is recognized by Unraid as a ASM1062 chipset. Physically the chip says ASM1061 printed on it, so I'm not sure which is right. As the description says, the card may have 4 ports total, however, only two can be active at a time. This is controlled via jumpers on the board. Out of the box (or rather, out of the static bag) they are configured to use the two internal SATA plugs. Since no manual is included, there is a small chart printed on the board describing how jumpers need to be set for a particular plug to be active. It's a little hard to decipher, so I'll try to explain:You will see two blocks of jumpers on the board:J8 J7 J6 J5 J4 J3 J2 J1Assuming the "top" of the card is the side with the internal SATA connectors: There are 3 pins per J# jumper column, Pin 1 is the lowest Pin, Pin 2 is the middle, Pin 3 is the top. The chart lists which pins to "jump" in order to activate it. So if you want to activate both eSATA ports (CON1 and CON2), then all 8 jumpers need to be set to jump pins 1-2. This will leave the internal SATA ports disabled.Myself, I have one internal SATA (CON3) and one eSATA (CON2) connector enabled which is:J8 J7 J6 J5, pins 1-2 jumpedJ4 J3 J2 J1, pins 2-3 jumpedTo enable only the 2 internal SATA ports (the factory setting), all 8 jumpers should be set as:J8 J7 J6 J5, pins 2-3 jumpedJ4 J3 J2 J1, pins 2-3 jumpedNote that you cannot have certain combinations of connectors active. Example CON1 and CON3 cannot be active at once since they use the same jumper block.
