Low price (I purchased two) and it shipped in the expected time or less. I use this S-video cable to connect a FIOS cable box to my home stereo system. The cable functions fine for that. However, there is bad static from the stereo if the cable is touched or moved while the system is powered on. That could be due to a number of things, such as a lack of shielding in the cable, or quality of the molded plug ends, or it could be something other than the cable, like a touchy S-video port in the stereo or something. In any case, the connection works fine if nothing is moved or disturbed when the system is turned on.
