KGUSS FX-AUIDO- TUBE-05 HiFi Vacuüm 12AU7 Buis Hoofdtelefoon amp Bass Treble EQ Voorversterker, voor 30-600Ω Hoofdtelefoon, met Afstandsbediening

I am using kali audio lp-6 v2 powered studio monitors as desktop computer speakers. Computer speaker sound is mixed with audio from my music streamer a Sonos Connect via an external DAC. I noticed that controlling the volume through Sonos Connect results in severe degradation of the audio quality (probably because it is done digitally). Inserting this FX-Audio Tube-05 and running it as a remote-controlled pre-amplifier allows me to leave the Sonos Connect audio output as "fixed". I can control the volume with the FX-Audio remote. Another bonus is that this preamplifier will operate correctly in solid-state mode without the vacuum tube plugged in. I tested the sound for a number of hours to compare "tube" mode and "solid state" mode and did not find any difference. Since keeping the tube plugged in generates a lot of heat even in solid state mode, I unplugged the tube and have been running the preamp without it.

I thought I chose carefully when buying this unit. I couldn't have been more wrong. I wanted a tube amp with a remote. I could do some tube rolling and have some fun. I have been using tube gear for over 50 yrs, I know my tubes. This unit is garbage.1/ The unit came with a remote that was meant for some other piece of equipment, it had a different company logo on it, and it did not work.2/ The unit produced very poor audio quality. I have high end Sennheiser headphones and the unit sounded muffled and not clear. I tried both tube and regular modes and they were both bad.This amp is not worthy of being considered a tube sound unit. It simply does not qualify.UPS is picking them up for return.Horrible experience.

Ist schon ein Wahnsinn was man um den Preis geboten bekommt. Sogar meine KH Oschis werden hier ordentlich versorgt ,wo manch andere KHV die Fahne streicht. Vollauf zufrieden ,da meine 8 bis 14 mal so teuren KHVs nicht viel besser aufspielen als der KGUSS FX-Audio- TUBE-05. Hätte ganz vergessen auch bei meinen mehrfach Teureren KHVs ist natürlich keine Fernbedienung dabei . Beim FX ist das Serienmäßig dabei und funktioniert perfekt.Von mir die verdienten Volle Punkte .Nachtrag:Habe mir das IFI 12 V Netzteil geholt. War eine Hörbare Aufwertung des KHV als mit dem mitgelieferten Teil .Besonders im Bassbereich.Hab den FX Audio auch als VV Probiert geht ausgesprochen gut mit meiner Onkyo 5000. Kein Rauschen weder bei Verwendung als KHV oder VV.Wie gesagt extrem gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis.

Set was so easy, like stupid easy, hardest part was getting the tube out of the molded foam. Remember never rock the tubes, always push pull straight up/ down or you will enlarge the tube contact and have connection issues, possible cracking popping noises if the pins aren't making direct contact This little headphone amp packs a wallop in such a small package. Currently using Audio-Technica ATH-M50X headphones that are fantastic, and I have a set of Audix A152's on order. Having 2 headphone outs on this amp (3.5mm and 1/4") are perfect for any application, no adapters needed. Also having a remote is a major plus. I love this little dynamic package and will most likely buy another one to hookup to my computer. 6 stars all the way for me.

Habe mir das Teil gekauft da an meinem Receiver der Kopfhörerausgang nicht mehr funktioniert und ich kein Geld für ein neues Gerät ausgeben wollte. Nach längerer Suche bin ich dann auf diesen kleinen Verstärker gestoßen. Das Teil ist wertig verarbeitet und hat einen sehr guten Klang ohne Rauschen oder sonstigen Störgeräuschen. Vor allem aber beschränkt sich die Funktion auf das eigentliche Thema eines Vorverstärkers bzw. Kopfhörerverstärkers ohne, für mich in dieser Anwendung nutzlose, Features wie Bluetooth, USB-Eingang, Kartenslots oder Sonstigem.Einzig die Fernbedienung mit zwei nicht belegten Tasten und die fehlende deutsche Bedienungsanleitung ist etwas nervig tut aber der Qualität des Teils keinen Abbruch. Ansonsten kann ich diesen kleine Kasten nur wärmstens empfehlen.
