I buy this for the ash tray in my car, the light does work, so when i drive in the night time it lights my ash tray, i don't know if is the best for read, is not very bright!

I bought the LED clip for my dad to use on his reading glasses because he often reads in low-light settings. I think at first he thought it was just a cheap gag gift or something but when he used it he really liked it and continues to use it to this day (about 6 months later). It's small and convenient and doesn't get in the way of his line of sight and doesn't add much weight to the glasses. I would definitely recommend it for reading in low-light settings.
