I bought this to replace the hard transparent acrylic version that comes with the Breville Barista Express, mostly because I'm not a fan of smoke-coloured transparent acrylics.This fits perfectly - both into the grinder section, and on top of the portafilter; and in fact I think it's easier to slide onto the portafilter than the OEM gear. Despite my dislike for smoke-coloured transparent acrylics, I understand why Breville's design department close it - the original item makes it possible (just) to see the grounds dropping into the basket; with this replacement item you just need to trust that it's happening, and trust that Breville's auto-stop function on the grinder will work as advertised. The issue could be resolved if Breville spent 20 cents directing a wire to an LED globe above the grinder assembly so it's not operating in the dark, but, anyway ...This slides onto the portafilter really easily, and twists back off just as smoothly. It's secure enough to hold itself on while you knock the grounds down with a few taps on the bottom of the basket on the bench/tamping mat, and it comes off without any resistance so you don't end up with a plume of grounds littering the bench if they're still sitting above the level of the basket.Really good bit of replacement gear, whether you need it because you broke/lost the original or like me, were born pre-1970 and are therefore allergic to smoke-coloured acrylic anythings.

Simple, cheap and robust. Obviously you will still have a little bit of coffee, but it reduces it a lot. I recommend.

Cet entonnoir est parfait pour récolter directement la mouture dans le porte filtre, puis ensuite utiliser l'outil pour repartir la mouture de façon homogène (WDT) sans en mettre partout...Attention, s'il est parfaitement compatible avec le porte filtre sage 54mm, il ne l'est pas aussi bien avec un porte filtre sans fond que j'ai acheté sur Amazon mais c'est normal puisqu'il est fabriqué pour être compatible avec le Sage ou Breville
