My 23 year old wired alarm system was giving us some issues and the supplier had gone out of business. Additionally it was of course dumb - you had no clue if you weren't within hearing distance if it was going off.Having a smart alarm using my existing wired detectors was very appealing and Konnected had complete solutions and extensive online documentation to aid the DIYer.I took lots of pictures of the old system circuit board and wiring and then untangled it, took more pictures and then gradually moved the circuits over to the Konnected system - straight forward just don't rush it and I tested it as I moved pairs of circuits over. It worked faultlessly!Had to check wiring for the siren as UK ones are wired differently to US but they have comprehensive guidance on their website and support got back to me very quickly (same day) on a couple of questions and were 100% correct each time.Konnected integrates with a number of smart home apps and, as an Android phone user, I chose SmartThings which is very versatile and simple to use - one 'button' press to arm for night time, away or disarm with configurable responses for intrusion events covering siren, lights, cameras, sound and messaging. Automation routines can be layered on top too.Overall a brilliant system that I recommend to anyone who doesn't mind sorting out a bunch of existing wired alarm cables in their existing alarm box.

I’ve been using this for over a year with absolutely zero issues. I moved into a house that has sensors on the windows and doors already, which were wired back to an alarm panel. But I wanted a way to see the state of those sensors in Home Assistant. This board made it a piece of cake. Added bonus, I also wired the alarm siren into this board and now home assistant can turn my siren on and off. No need for an expensive alarm company anymore! Plus all the automations I can do with door and window sensors. I also like that it is POE so i have less wires cluttering up the place, and all my stuff is on a single UPS.

The ones with 3M stickers don't look that they will last forever.Overall, this is a great product.

This works very well and is a fairly easy migration to make. I'm a basic DIYer but this a very do-able project for most people. Lots of useful videos etc on-line but in reality it's mostly common sense. This is so configurable that I now have a host of new options that I can add to my system, a system that is bang up to date. The size of the new board has also helped me to greatly reduce the ugly, large old boards casing and periferals which is also a real bonus. I am already being asked to convert friends and family's alarms, this is so impressive and very easy to recommend.

I purchased the Alarm Panel Pro as a new install for my own DIY security system (no previous experience with an alarm system). The instructions are good and it's very simple to wire up the hardware. I experienced some issues when trying to update the firmware and had to reach out for technical support. I was able to get a response from Nate (customer support) on the Community Forum in less than 24 hrs (and on a Sunday!!).Even with the few hiccups, I'm quite happy with the product so far.
