I am very very pleased with my purchase! I have a 20-year-old Lagostina larger saucepan which has been my favourite and most robust stainless steel cooking pan EVER, outlasting other premium brands I've bought over the years. I was thrilled to find this low profile casserole pan on Amazon at a very reasonable price; it matches my original Lagostina with its simple comfortable handles and is the perfect size for my needs - so reliable for everyday cooking, casseroles etc and good for both induction stovetop and oven cooking. I wanted a braising/sauteing/allrounder pan without a long frypan handle (which I find just gets on the way when I'm juggling more than one pan on the stovetop or trying to store my cookware in the cupboard). Fantastic value, this is my choice pan among the swathes of stainless steel cookware on the market. I realise that Lagostina no longer manufacture in Italy (now made in China) but to be honest the pan I received is sturdy and well made, and looks to be similar quality as my trusty 20-year old Lagostina. Highly highly recommend. Don't forget to order the matching lid which is sold separately.

Ich hatte Bedenken, dass das Fleisch beim Anbraten in dem Edelstahltopf kleben bleibt. Das war nicht der Fall, ein wenig Butterschmalz in den Topf, darauf das Gulasch und los ging es. Immer schön rühren und die Fleischstücke wurden ohne Probleme angebraten. Dann alles in die Röhre und ein perfektes Gulasch wurde fertig. Ich kann diesen Topf nur empfehlen. Schade dass es keinen Deckel dazu gibt. Ich habe einen ALDA Glasdeckel dazu gekauft, der leider nicht ganz dicht schließt.
