I found the multi-pack of Lamy Z28 Piston Converters to be cost effective. They arrived promptly and fit perfectly into my Lamy AL-Star pens.Though the volume of ink they hold is less than a standard cartridge, I like how I can empty the ink back into its bottle and refill with a different colour when needed.
