My daughter is obsessed with all things unicorn. I pulled out this craft to keep us occupied after she had her tonsils out and needed to take it easy. The cloud craft was simple enough. We had leftover yarn which was a lovely bonus because it was so soft my daughter used it for several more crafts, including a unicorn that she drew and glued scrap yarn to for a rainbow mane!The unicorn painting craft is where I deducted a star. The paints are so thin and watery that they barely show up. Our unicorn didn’t look nearly as lovely as the photos depict. The gold glitter paint is see through, so you can layer it over another color. My daughter still enjoyed the craft but I was disappointed that it didn’t look very exciting after painting.These projects required adult assistance for my 6 year old, and that was expected. It was fun and unique. I’ve not seen another craft like this and I appreciate the look of the finished product. I frequently just want to toss crafts in the trash once completed because they are such eyesores, but these are cute enough to go on the wall or a shelf.
