Deze rubberen mat werkt prima als je gaatjes in leer wilt slaan, maar daar houd het ook wel bij op. Ik heb deze nu al enkele maanden, en nog steeds is deze niet vlak te krijgen. het kwam zéér gekromd aan, en is dat nu dus nog steeds. Dit zorgt ervoor dat het midden telkens naar beneden en weer omhoog veert, wat niet nodig zou hoeven zijn.

Ich benutze es zum Vorstechen der Löcher beim Nähen von Leder und dafür funktioniert es gut. Die Löcher "schließen" sich zwar in der Matte, allerdings bleiben sie sichtbar und Flusen werden manchmal auch mit eingeschlossen.Die Matte wird also nicht ewig halten und nach einiger Zeit ausgetauscht werden müssen, was bei dem doch hohen Preis schnell teuer wird.Die Größe der Matte ist okay, für größere Projekte wäre eine größere Option allerdings besser.Die Matte kam leicht verbogen an, was aber der Funktion nicht schadet.

 

This board is brilliant but it's bent!! It has a very distinct curve (like it's been rolled) which does make it a little difficult to work on. I've tried to flatten it out but it's pretty tough stuff and is very difficult to flatten. Otherwise it's absolutely brilliant!! Nice and thick to dull sound and sturdy enough to take the metal tines of the hole-punching tools.

This is a decent product. It will do the job fine.My product arrived buckled and I need it flat, leaving in my press for a couple of days has sorted this (-1).In terms of functionality it serves its purpose and saves me money by protecting my blades. The mat is about A5 size and just under 1/2" thick. Suitable for hole punching etc where you want to protect your blades. The material is easily pierceable but has good resistance when pierced which is good for use as a punching pad.
