It comes with all that's needed - Allen wrench, and what I like most - the hand tightenable screws.There are two supplied. You insert them through a larger hole to get into their collared positions.Now I would've prefered that you instead have to thread them through so that even if they accidentally slide to the middle larger hole, they don't fall off. This would not be a problem if you adapted it to a 1/4" screw though, as the head becomes too big to fit through the insert hole.The top has a siilicone/rubber grip. I used this on my 100-400mm lens. It is long enough to adjust the balance, and there are 2 safety screws that you can unscrew in case they get in the way.The plate itself is milled well, and I am very sure it has more than enough strength to hold a big lens.

My shoulder rig requires Arca Swiss plate that's little flat.This works perfectly.Also provide two knob(screw) in front to prevent camera rotation - must for focus pulling.Perfect for my need and highly recommend for any video recording camera.
