Connaissant la marque Leifheit, j'ai cru (à tort) que ce coupe-film serait (encore) meilleur que le Emsa que j'utilise depuis des années. Je regrette mon achat, il ne coupe pas bien, mais dans la mesure où j'ai jeté l'emballage du produit je ne peux sans doute pas le renvoyer.

Ich habe diesen Folienschneider nun einige Monate ausprobiert und bin sehr zufrieden damit! Das Wichtige bei der Handhabung ist, dass man die Folie unter " Spannung" abschneiden muß, weil es nur dann wunderbar funktioniert. Das funktioniert sehr gut, wenn man z.B. die rechte Hand gleich beim Zudecken einer Schüssel auf den Anfang der Folie hält und somit eine Spannung erzeugt, wenn man das Schneidegerät mit der linken Hand wegzieht, das heißt, die Folie herausrollt und beim Zuklappen des Folienschneiders ist die Folie abgeschnitten! Eine vom Gerät LOSE weghängende Folie lässt sich nicht abschneiden!! Ich bereue diesen Kauf nicht und freue mich täglich darüber!

This foil/plastic wrap cutter works great on either type of wrap.I just depress the small red button and the holder pops open, then I pull out the amount of wrap needed, then push the holder partially closed . It cuts through the wrap perfectly without even needing to stretch the plastic wrap. The wrap just falls away from the cutter blade. Then give it a gentle squeeze to re-engage the red latch completely before putting away.I do not know what caused the problems for the other posters.I use this one for my small plastic wrap rolls. The spindles on this cutter are smaller in diameter than and fits the smaller tubes that my plastic wrap comes on. The other cutter's spindles are too large to accommodate the small size plastic wrap I usually purchase. Of course the smaller diameter spindle will fit your average foil and wax paper as well as the space saver sized box of plastic wrap.Its white opaque color with red accents also enables me to tell the difference btw my plastic wrap and my foil in the at a glance. This is nice since I store them in the cabinet under my sink. I know immediately the one with the red dot on the end is plastic wrap and the other foil.It is well made and I expect many years of use. The price difference btw the 2 cutters was worth it for the ability to tell which wrap is which without having to pull them out of their storage holder.Glad I made the purchase since I seem to always smash the boxes my various wraps are packaged in.

La forma más sencilla de cortar el film transparente. Metes el rollo, sacas lo que necesitas y dejándolo ligeramente tenso aprietas y suena un clic. Una vez que ha sonado ya está cortado.Así te ahorras que se arrugue o se peque entre el, cosa que era lo que me cabreaba bastante.

Plastic wrap still gets stuck inside and has to be manually pulled out from way inside but the actual cutting is sharp and quick once you get the knack to handle.
