Es kam sehr schnell zuhause an. Es handelt sich um ein Slot-in Laufwerk. Eines Vorweg. Ich hätte niemals gedacht, dass man so viel Mechanik in einem soo kleinen Gehäuse unterbringen könnte.Nun ich habe ein Slot-In Laufwerk gebraucht, da einfache Laufwerke nicht bei meinem HTPC-Gehäuse kompatibel wären. Allerdings haben mir noch Adapterkabel gefehlt, die ich dann nachbestellt habe. Und ich muss sagen, dass das Lauferk echt seinen Dienst macht und das auch in angenehmer Lautstärke.

A nice quick drive at a reasonable price. Fiits nicely in my small (M-ITX) PC - don't forget an adapter to standard SATA.

Ordered one of these as a replacement for a Sony Optiarc DVD writer that had problems with the drive belt on the tray, and no longer opened. The Optiarc had been playing up for over a year, but had previously served well for almost 5 yearsThis is the first time I have bought an LG DVD writer, but I have several other LG products that have been great, so as Optiarc drives now seem hard to find I decided to try an LG. It installed fine using Win 7 Ultimate 64bit, with Windows finding the drivers and automatically installing the drive on first boot-up with it connected. The first few CD burns have all gone well, and the drive appears to be as quiet, if not quieter, than the Optiarc drive it replaced. Burn speed also seemed similar to the Optiarc and I have not had any errors or failures.So long as this drive continues to perform as well as it has so far I would definitely use this on my next PC builds for myself and friends. Although DVD drives are not used as much as they used to be, I still find a regular need to burn something to DVD or CD, so it is good to have a quiet reliable burning drive. Bought as an add-on item it is great value.
