Fits great (size small pictured), my cat LOVES it, and the strings double as a toy! It’s also light so he has no problem walking around the house like the king he is!

This beautiful cloak is very well made. The red fabric is an ultra luxe, extra soft, plush velour (with stretch). The white and black spotted trim is a faux fur fabric.Since I bought the cloak for my cat (who naturally licks himself clean), I thought I'd wash the cloak first before letting it touch his fur. I contacted the seller beforehand because another reviewer wrote that the color "bled" when they washed the cloak. The seller assured me that the cloak won't "bleed" if washed in cold water. The seller also stated that they contacted the manufacturer, who stated that the color fastness rating is a 4, which is very high (i.e., meaning that the cloak is unlikely to "bleed" when washed).I washed the cloak by hand this afternoon in a small bucket of cold water and it's perfectly okay.First, I placed it in a dip of about 3 cups cold water and 3 cups vinegar for about 1 minute, just to prevent any possible color transfer/"bleeding" because vinegar is supposed to lock in the color. There was no "bleeding" at all in the vinegar/water dip.Then, I prepared a soapy water solution, with cold water and 1/4 cup of organic laundry detergent. When I washed it by hand in the soapy water, there was no "bleeding" from the red onto the white trim. However, when I poured the soapy water down the sink, the soapy water was a very faint/pale pink. Nevertheless, the white trim remained white.I rinsed the cloak under cold water and wrung it out with my hands many times. There was still no color transfer/"bleeding" onto the white trim.The cloak is now hanging to dry on a drying rack and it's okay.This is an excellent product. It's pricey but worth it, considering the quality and attention to detail. Highly recommend!PS. I also bought what appears to be a matching "Rubie's King's Crown Pet Costume Accessory" via amazon.com. The crown hasn't arrived yet, but I'm sure it'll be perfect.
