A novel ideal on how to dispense bracelet making beads & charms. Just pull the tabs to dispense the mystery bags containing bracelet materials. Continue to reveal surprises behind hidden compartments for extra surprises. My daughter really enjoyed pulling the tabs and watching the bead packets drop down into the base of the box package. There is a simple instruction booklet with step by step on how to make 5 different elastic cord bracelets but you can really do whatever design you like.

This set was doable for my 6 yo. Creative packaging allows kids to imagine this is a vending machine. Since you can only do so much with packaging design, you have to release the bottom items before the top ones, otherwise, the bottom ones get in the way and prevent the top ones from falling all the way. I like how the bracelets are individually packaged, but you can't give them away to friends, as is, because the cord is not included in the small packages. The cord is is provided in one long length and needs to be cut to 12inches for each bracelet. The cord is fairly thin, clear and a bit elastic. Because the cord is so thin, it can easily slide between any small gap in the charm's jump ring. During the day of wearing a bracelet, the charm has fallen off. This has happened with 2 different bracelets. It is repairable by reclosing the gap in the jump ring, but I anticipate this as being a recurring problem. I don’t have enough cord to redo it now, but if I had to do it all over, I’d ditch the jump ring all together and just thread it directly through the eyelet of the charm. Overall, fun idea and activity, but could be better.
