Phew. It's a beast.Nice and ergonomic with clean sight lines of your cut. Good positive locking handles and screws on all features and a nice quick release on the rip fence (which ships with the saw by the way). The saw is slightly heavier than some I have used, and you can tell Makita have put a fair amount of thought into how this handles. It's well balanced and isn't tiring in the hand.It's easy to adjust throughout the range of cutting angles and there's a good positive lock on the 45 degree cut and a knob twist will open that up to 50 degrees.The battery life is phenomenal. With two 5Ah batteries strapped to the back this thing will cut 2x4s all day. I haven't counted them but other more thorough reviewers have clocked well over 500 full cuts on the above thickness.I've used it on everything from 2x1 to 9x2 and back again. It doesn't really struggle on anything.Changing blades is a cinch, just push a button to lock the blade in place and use he supplied hex key to undo the nut in the arbor. The hexy keys stows securely in the handle too.One thing to note. If you're used to a lower powered saw this one will absolutely fight back and kick if you don't respect it. Good technique is essential. I know that you should always be careful around saws but a warning will do no harm. While on the subject of safety this has an electronic brake. A great feature so you have to wait a lot less for the blade to spin down after you've made your cut. It also has a thumb release fir the trigger to prevent accidental starting.Almost tempted to dock a star because it doesn't come with a hook to hang it up while you're working. I'm sure you could cobble something up but cheaper saws have this nice little feature. Why doesn't this!Paired with a nice Freud Diablo blade this is an excellent saw. Really see this getting an awful lot of use!In terms of day to day use you absolutely will need a dual charger IF you need to keep it in constant use. Otherwise the single charger is fine if you can swap out batteries as they charge.

Ich war etwas am schwanken zwischen 4 und 5 Sternen weil man die Akkus mit anstrengenden Aufgaben (zB Längsschnitten) EXTREM schnell leer bekommt - ich habe ein 80x80 Kantholz auf 60mm Breite geschnitten und dazu erst von einer Seite 20mm, dann 40mm gesägt - dann das gleiche von der anderen Seite - danach noch 2-3 Meter Rauspund gekappt und die zwei frisch geladenen 4ah Akkus waren leer .. ich habe das gleiche noch einmal mit 2 anderen 5ah Akkus probiert, die hielten sich kaum länger .. als ich dann alternativ das ganze mit einer SP6000 versucht habe (zugegeben mit dem weniger groben Blatt drauf) war ich aber wieder versöhnt, denn die Akku Kreissäge ist der über 1000 Watt saugenden Netzsäge nicht nur ebenbürtig, sie ist kräftiger!

Je suis menuisier ,je fais usage de cette scie pour couper des panneaux de particules,du médium et du massif. Machine de bonne qualité coupe propre suffisamment puissante je la recommande sans hésitation.
