LOVE IT ! I bought this to replace my basic mandolin that has reached the million mile mark. I'm going to say this product takes a bit of time (in addition to the instructions) to figure out what "setting" is best for the vegetable you are trying to process. You also have to think about what ANGLE you put the vedge in if it is a multi-layered item like cabbage or an onion. But once you do, it is awesome. I really like the spring loaded handle. Easy rinse and dry clean up. Glad they included a little brush to get in the cracks.This is a salad I just finished making. This mandolin was used to chop everything including nuts and flat parsley that replaced the cilantro............and of course I am including the recipe LOL
