McNett Sea Drops (37ml) [Misc.]

My mask didn't mist up at all.

I have used these drops for a number of years to keep my mask from fogging up whilst diving. (I don't have the right quality of spit as others for some reason). Anyway, I have only ever needed a couple of drops of seadrops due to the gel like consistency and because of this, they tend to last me quite a long time, even though I dive between 2 and 6 times a week and have shared a few drops with other divers on occasion.These seadrops are not the same, they are more like dishwater. You cannot just add two drops as a slight squeeze is enough to flood quite a bit into the mask. I still have some of the original left and if you shake bottle, you can tell that it's a thicker consistency, the bottle purchased when shaken just sounds as though it's full of water. The bottle is not the same as the orange flip lid but has been changed to a white screw top which has to be tightened to death to prevent leakage and whereas the original was made in the USA, these appear to have been made in Germany.I am not blaming the seller in any way (I did contact them and received an acceptable response), but I will not be buying this particular bottle again. To be honest, the picture of the item for sale is not the same as the one you get, but I understand that the packaging has been changed. I shall have to make a trip to my nearest dive store to pick up a bottle of the original. I feel that I have wasted my money as I bought two.

Nach der Übernahme von McNett durch GearAid wurden die Fläschchen geändert, mit und meiner Frau hat der Alte Verschluss besser gefallen da er sich auch mit Dicken Handschuhen einfach öffnen und schließen ließ. Antibeschlagwirkung ist im Kalten Süßwasser Wasser ok, ob es auch bei Feuchten 30 Grad noch wirkt wird sich auf den Malediven zeigen > Update folgt!

It's meant for divers, but I find it useful to put a couple of drops on my goggles for the swimming pool. The last time I bought this it lasted at least 10 years, as the amount needed is tiny.
