Passt auf ein Thinkpad carbon x1 gen 6, macht einen qualitativ hochwertigen Eindruck. Contra: lässt sich (logischerweise) nicht mehr komplett nach hinten klappen, ist gering "schwer" sodass der Bildschirm etwas leichter nach hinten kippt, Preis könnte etwas niedriger sein.

I always wanted a hard shell case for my X1 Carbon, and before this there were no such products available on Amazon (except skins).The plastic feels pretty durable, however unlike most MacBook pro hard cases that's on Amazon, the plastic is a smooth plastic, so definitely not the most grippy texture.The bottom has a "stand" mechanism that can tilt the laptop, however I don't trust that it will be able stand an accidental slam.Also, for some reason, the stand has no rubber feet, even though the other pair does, and the stand has holes for a rubber feet (see picture)Because of the design, I can no longer open the screen to 180 degrees, which is not too big of an issue, but may be for some.Some of the clips will kind of prevent the laptop from closing fully; it will close, it will just leave a gap. Some rubber padding on the clip would've been nice (again see pictures)In the end, at least it fills a market gap,even though it's slightly pricy. It's not perfect, but at least it works as intended. You'll probably have to remove the mCover sticker. The clear option is good if you still want people to see the stickers you have on the laptop.

It is pricey but only one available & fits X1 Carbon 5th Gen.As someone mentioned the slight blockage of the power connection port but the beauty of the X1 Carbon is you can plug in right next to the partially blocked port since it has 2 power connection port.Hope to see more hard shell case like this for Lenovo models.
