Very well balanced sound. Depending on direction being held you can achieve different tone and tambre. Very suitable for acoustic music accompaniment

I love the sounds and the variations you can get but maybe in the studio. For gigging the shape is just too awkward for me anyway. I got this and bring it in my perc bag but have not been able to use it. I get a few shakes in then switch back to the other round dual shakers because they just work better in the mic and with normal stage movement.
