Loving this upgraded version. I have finally retired the original version, which I used as a home server. This is so much faster and streaming is much smoother to this unit. I am always blown away by the customer service as well. Great stream device and especially for cloud gaming. Anything I've needed over the years as far as drivers, or even dumb questions, they've always responded immediately and friendly. Will be using this mele brand for all of my server/pc stick needs!

The MeLE Upgraded PCG02 Fanless Mini PC Stick is a compact, energy-efficient solution for users who need a versatile micro desktop for business, office, industrial, IoT, or home use. Here’s my experience after hands-on use.**What I Liked**- **Expandable Storage with MicroSD**One of the standout features is the built-in MicroSD card slot, allowing for easy expansion of storage. This is a big plus for anyone who might need extra space for files or media without the hassle of external drives.- **Ultra-Compact and Slim Design**The PCG02 is impressively small-smaller than most smartphones-which makes it easy to hide behind a monitor or carry in your pocket. The slim profile is ideal for clutter-free setups or travel.- **Mounting Plate Included (VESA Support)**The inclusion of a mounting plate is thoughtful. I was able to mount the stick neatly behind my monitor using the VESA mount, keeping my workspace tidy and the device out of sight.**Connectivity and Performance**- **Versatile Ports**Despite its size, the PCG02 offers a good range of ports: dual HDMI for up to two 4K displays, USB Type-C, USB 3.0, Ethernet, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Wireless connectivity is solid with Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1.- **Everyday Performance**Powered by the Intel Celeron N100, the stick is well-suited for web browsing, office tasks, and light media consumption. Windows 11 Pro runs smoothly for basic tasks, and the device is energy efficient and silent, thanks to its fanless design.**Issues Encountered**- **HDMI Extension Cable Problem**My main frustration was with the included short HDMI extension cable. When I connected the PCG02 to my TV using this cable, the TV failed to detect any video signal. After several attempts, I switched to a USB-C to HDMI adapter with my own HDMI cable plugged into the PC’s USB-C port, and the display worked perfectly. Even after retrying the built-in HDMI with the short cable, there was still no picture. For now, I’ve left it connected via USB-C, which has been reliable.- **Heat Management**While the device is designed for passive cooling and the shell is engineered for better heat dissipation, I noticed it runs quite hot during extended use. It hasn’t shut down or throttled, but the warmth is noticeable and something to keep in mind if you plan to use it for long periods.**Final Thoughts**The MeLE PCG02 Fanless Mini PC Stick is a clever, space-saving device with enough power for basic computing tasks. The MicroSD slot and included mounting plate are practical touches. However, the HDMI extension cable issue was a letdown, and the unit does get warm with prolonged use. If you’re looking for a silent, ultra-compact PC for light office work, streaming, or IoT applications, this mini PC stick is a strong contender-just be prepared to use your own HDMI solution if you run into display issues.

This is a much more capable little PC than I expected. In the box there's a USB-C power supply, the PC itself, an HDMI extender, and a VESA adapter bracket (with associated screws). The HDMI extender is long enough to go from a monitor mount to the inputs on the back of the monitor, but it's not enough to get to a TV's side inputs from the mount at the back. The fact that it's an extender is also an odd choice - it would've made more sense to have a coupler or female/female adapter, so you could use it with an HDMI cord of your own length. The USB-C adapter and box also mention not using other USB power sources (it's a 12v connection). The VESA adapter is very nice - you can put it between your mount and monitor/TV and it'll hold this TVIt was easy to set up - hook the HDMI extender to the side and my input, put the power in, attach a mouse/keyboard, and turn it on. It booted up quickly to the Windows 11 initial setup. I was able to sign in with a local account without it forcing me to use an MS one, so that was very nice. The Windows install also seems free of the normal bloatware (even that from MS). It's running 23H2 from the box. After getting signed in I installed Cinebench R20 and ran that. It got 800 points - better than expected. After running it for 20-30 min I was very impressed with the performance of this machine. Running at 100% CPU usage on all cores, it ran at roughly 2.5ghz for the first 10 min or so. As it did, the temperatures gradually increased from ambient to about 70C. Once it hit 70C it dropped the boost down to 2.0ghz (though it didn't register thermal throttling in CPU info). For the remainder of the test it went between 70-75C and stayed stable at 2.0ghz on all cores. It seemed to be at a thermal equilibrium - even my touching it would drop the temps a few degrees before they'd go up again after I took my hand off.I took it apart (see the pic). It snaps apart from the bottom of the LAN port. There's a thermal pad on the middle of the board (the opposite side of the board of the CPU) and the outside of the case has a metal heatsink of sorts (though the exterior case is plastic, which is an insulator - it'd get better heat dissipation if it was a metal exterior). If you unscrew the corners you can pry it up from the HDMI port end, but I couldn't remove it fully from the case without risking damage to the antenna for the wifi (it has very short leads to the soldered wifi). I did get it lifted up far enough to tell that there's a good-size blob of thermal grease on the CPU that gives it good connection with the other side of the case (which also has a metal plate on it for thermal reasons). It's a decent design (the only thing I'd recommend better is to have a metal exterior layer, not have it covered by plastic). I am very impressed that it's thermally stable and doesn't throttle. This is a great device for homelab, a streaming device, a remote device/sync PC, etc. It'd also be great for an office PC. You're not going to win any speed awards, but it's surprisingly responsive and has plenty of power for many uses - and uses barely any power compared to a larger PC.
