This beautiful 100% wool under mattress works wonderfully. It provides warmth and comfort for those winter nights. I did not find any strange smells other than the natural smell of lanolin that was pleasant.

A great addition to the bed...now rests on top of our new Eve Hybrid Mattress....what a combination of comfort!......The reversible option means you can be cooler in the warmer weather and vice versa.....Recommended.

I specifically got a woollen mattress topper because I'd read it was good at regulating body temperature - my husband and I get really hot during the night and even though we have a window open and a light quilt, sometimes we wake up sweaty. Not with this bad boy! And the best part is that when we get into bed, if feels cosy so it's not horribly cold when you lie down. I'm very pleased! One tiny heads up is that when we first put it on, it was a bit scratchy with some of the fibres coming through our fitted sheet, but withing a few nights of sleeping on it, that disappeared and now it's just really soft and great at temperature control.

Just as I expected, fits well onto my 5ft mattress. Bought to help with my hot flushes, I think its help a little!!

Bought both versions, received exactly the same Item...contacted customer service, to receive a short curt message that the lambs wool version is exactly the same item

Fantastic product. Had seriously improved my sleep. I have fibromyalgia as this is the first thing I've used in ten years that has improved my sleep patterns. Prevents night sweats but keeps you warm. Also relieves pressure. I've just ordered another. Needs to be aired on receipt as is a bit strong smelling for me to put straight on the bed. Worth the wait thought. Wonderful.
