The middle of the donut is filled by a small round cushion. The cushion is ‘okay’.My cats see this tunnel as a game of one cat sits inside, and the other cat chases them out, then they swap around. My older cat also sees this as nice quiet place to fall asleep in, away from his younger more playful companion.The tunnel is made of a soft cotton plush green and white patterned material. This cat bed is a fun invention. It was easy to put together and my cat was instantly running through the tunnels and batting at the toys before I could even connect them. The size of the tunnels is perfect for curious cats, but overall it's pretty big once it's put together. The inner cushion is bed-sized and I could see cats sleeping in there, but mine hasn't been too interested in that part. This takes up a decent footprint but it's also easy to put away, as the tunnels collapse and can be secured with the included elastic bands, and the tunnels can also be used separately or connected in an S shape. This would be a blast if you had more than one cat! A very fun invention and just as entertaining for the humans as for their fuzzy friends.

This is way bigger than I expected. Very easy to assemble and my cat who normally shuns things I buy her for at least a month was straight in there before I could even finish zipping it up. She seems to use it as a little hideaway cave to stalk us and we can poke the outside when she wants to play. Prob great for 2 cats that play together to mess around in. Very impressed.

We got this tunnel for the puppies we are fostering. The fact that it is washable was appealing and the reason I chose it.The outer lining is so soft, and a cute pattern. The tunnels zip together, keeping them tight and secure as the puppies tear around through the tunnels. They really enjoy the dangling toys and are absolute goofballs with the whole thing. It’s been such an entertaining addition to our home.
