It's nice, but keeps getting disconnected from the Mi Home app through Bluetooth. Have tried different batteries, kept deleting device and adding the device to app but to no avail. Resulting in not being able to update the firmware as well. Conclusion: I don't recommend this. Better get a different one. Price is too high for this type of device.

In use with Home Assistant 2022.9. Firmware updated, now it works well.

De vochtigheids meter werkt niet goed.

product wordt geleverd zonder batterij, maar wel met een plastic palletje om de batterij te activeren. Of de batterij is er bewust uitgehaald, of een refurbished apparaat? hoe dan ook, slechte bestelling.

No battery is attached, and what's worse, it is really hard to connect to the MiJia App.

In itself it is a nice device, but unfortunately I cannot recommend it for people who would like to see data per minute, for example. The official app only updates once an hour (normally) which I personally find far too little. Have read on the internet if temperature / humidity fluctuates quickly, that it will update a little more, but unfortunately that is only temporary.Besides that you MUST register/login to the official app (Mi Home), the app often couldn't find 1 of the 3 temperature sensors (after adding it) while I was only a few meters away from it. You can also not see the temperature properly (in 1 eye view) in the app. You have to select them per device to see the data.However, there are other apps available that you can use that can be linked to the Xiaomi Mijia thermometer without having to register/log in. Though, your mobile must be nearby to retrieve the data.So after an hour of searching on google, I found that you can flash the sensor with custom firmware, where you can also set how often it "sends" the temp/humidity. But if you do this, you will not be able to use any official or third party apps anymore. You can however! Add the sensor to, for example, Home Assistant..Then this device is very suitable. Show all temperatures/humidity (and battery indication if you want) in one page, and update several times per minute (can be set via the web flasher called TelinkMiFlasher)Don't want to use any app? No problem. Of course it also has a display! So temperature easy (up close, it's still quite small) to read without installing anything.Can recommend this device! Especially with the custom firmware.

Der Sensor wird bei mir in der Home Automation für eine luftfeuchtigkeitsabhängige Lüftersteuereung verwendet. Nach einem Debakel mit Zigbee Geräten, bin ich auf die Kombination aus Mi Sensor und Sonoff mini R4 Schalter verbunden über BLE umgestiegen.Gleich nachdem ich die Batterie (nicht im Lieferumfang) eingesetzt habe, wurde das Gerät von mir auf die alternative ATC Firmware mit dem Telink Flasher umgestellt, um frei von sämtlichen Herstellerlimitationen auf alle Funktionen zugreifen zu können. Ein großes Lob an Aaron Christophel für dieses tolle Stück Software. Zum Flashen muss man lediglich den Sensor in die Nähe eines bluetoothfähigen Geräts (PC, Smartphone) bringen und die Webseite des Telink Flashers öffnen. Das Thermometer muss dafür nicht geöffnet und es muss auch nichts gelötet werden. Einfacher wäre nur, wenn diee ATC Firmware gleich ab Werk aufgespielt wäre.Fazit: Super, dass es Hersteller gibt, die nicht gleich alle Türen verschließen wenn die Community einen Weg um die Stockfirmware herum gefunden hat. Ich werde den Sensor und vorallem die ATC Firmware auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.
