It is a really great extruder and direct drive combo in one. I get nearly perfect prints after install. Only thing that I can say is that I wish it had metal brackets for the Bl/CRtouch, as the printed file design breaks to easily

Printed amazingly even before tuning my settings.

This is way too old of technology. The original MK8 style hotends have no place in 2024, much less 2025. Either get the Revo version of this NG hotend, or just do the work and upgrade to Voron.. Since Voron hot ends require some user knowledge the Revo is good for most people. Just dont get this Mk8 version. Totally outdated.

This direct extruder drive was very easy to install and replace my old extruder. This is a nice upgrade as it allows me to expand the type of filament I can use. The extruder is well made and feels like it can handle the all day printing my machine does. Overall this is a great upgrade for my 3d printer.

I installed this on an Ender 5 S1 as part of a CoreXY conversion, and ran the printer for a couple of weeks, it seemed to work well until today when I came back into the room to a loud racket. The front fan had lost several (3?) blades and was now running out of balance. Well outside of return window, and I cannot find how to get in touch with MicroSwiss to order a replacement.
