Micro Swiss NG™ Extruder met directe aandrijving voor Creality Ender 5/5 Pro / 5 Plus

Works perfectly on my Ender 5 Plus! The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and included links to the files for the printable parts. The printable parts were also included in the box. All reprogramming I had to do to get printing was in the instructions and the gcode file for that was linked too. The heating is consistent and there isn't a difference in the noise level that I notice.Overall, definitely worth the upgrade!

Save your money - I had to buy two of these before I learned they don't work with Ender 5-Plus. When I first got mine, I hooked up the extruder, but the stepper motor was dead on arrival. I switched back to my old motor just to test the cable, and it worked fine. Changed it back - dead. So I bought another one, thinking the motor arrived faulty - that one was dead too.Did a bit of searching online, and apparently the steps need to be changed in the EPROM to avoid that exact symptom. I already did that once as per instructions, but I figured what the heck, so I did that again. Still nothing.Then another post on reddit said those aren't the correct steps and to try a different number. Tried that too - the motor jerks briefly and then nothing. Refunding both.Save your money if you have a 5-Plus

Die Montage war mit der verlinkten Anleitung OK und die Ausdrucke sind sauber und deutlich besser als mit dem alten Bowden Extruder. Nur das nach c.a. 20-30 Stunden Betrieb beim Filamentwechsel irgend etwas im Extruder schief gelaufen ist - das Teil ist verstopft, zieht kein Filament mehr ein und aufgrund der Bauform ist es unmöglich an den Filamenttrieb zu kommen, insbesondere auch weil die winzigen Schrauben mit denen der Exruder selber zusammengebaut ist so fest angezogen sind das sie sich nicht mehr lösen lassen.

After replacing the PTFE tube with Capricorn, I was still getting stringing and other issues.With this direct all metal hot-end and extruder (And I used a Bondtec CHT 0.8mm Nozzle), it makes my Ender 5 Plus a much more capable machine - much smaller retractions (~1.5m vs 5-10mm), much higher flow and I can print higher temperature filaments such has Colorfabb HT and flexibles (TPU).The instructions mentioned printing some additional parts - for me it was to support a BLTouch - but MicroSwiss included this in the package - which allowed me to install it without delay.The 3D printed fan shroud is well done an appears to be PTEG-CF for something similar - looks good and everything fit perfectly.If you are looking for a way to add significant capability to your stock Ender - this is a great upgrade.
