I have always struggled with different socket set sizes due the vast array of different types of vehicles I regularly work on and the different tools I come across at other peoples workshops. Aa is normal for me I will be using other peoples equipment when they ask for my help and invariably the socket size set is wrong for my tools. So now I take this adapter and reducer set with me at all times. In the past. month since getting it I have needed it twice when working on 1. a large lorry trailer and 2. A JCB digger. The Socket adapters are very well made and the set has 4 reducers: 1"F to 3/4"M, 3/4"F to 1/2"M, 1/2"F to 3/8"M, 3/8"F to 1/4"M; and 4 adapters: 1/4"F to 3/8"M, 3/8"F to 1/2"M, 1/2"F to 3/4"M, 3/4"F to 1"M, 3/8" it also has a universal 1/2 inch joint... a great variety of adapters and reducers covering most situations.The plastic hard case they come in is very strong but a bit bright LOL it's Bright RED but that just means it is easy to find in my van which is a shambles LOL. They are extremely strong being made from forged Molybdenum Steel. these are professional standard items that are a great addition to any mechanics tools box. Highly recommended.

The ten piece Mr.wintek Impact Driver socket adaptor set is well made and nicely presented in the moulded plastic clam-shell case.I like the table of torque limits for each drive size included in the case. Too many people forget the smaller sized drives are weaker when using a reducing adapter.The shape of the square both male and female is well moulded and an effective fit in a socket, this on all the parts.The ball springs are strong enough on each adaptor to firmly hold the sockets, the weakest being on the ¼” drive.The two universal joints are a bit too notchy, and might need some careful work with lapping paste to be as supple as my others.My only dislike is the dull, matte black finish. I very much prefer a shiny polished surface on all my tools because it makes it easier to see if they are clean or not when tidying up after use.

If you work on cars bikes or trucks then you need a set of these, You might not think you need them but this set is so versatile there will be times when you do.I will probly only use the 1/4 3/8 1/2 sizes but it is nice to have the bigger ones just in case.They seem very well made but only time will tell how good they are.The blow molded case is nice to keep them all together in.

Just so you know, I review products for Amazon, so I did not pay for this item. Having received it, here's what I thought:I've found this to be very useful, they allow you to go up sizes and downsizes and the pivot joints seem to be good quality. I've not yet used them on big torque values with an impact driver, they seem like they'd do the job but time will tell. I am happy to recommend, a useful addition the the toolbox. I'll update if they don't work as expected as I work on projects in the future.
