Replaced the rusted brake cables on my commuter bike with these brake cables and not had any issues with them.There's no special coating on them so i have oiled the exposed length along the top tube so the cable doesn't corrode, they come rolled up and had no kinks or anything like that, just a basic brake cable. Fitted my levers fine, haven't done any heavy braking with them only squeezing lever hard while stationary, all seems fine.

These are a good enough cable for the average bike.ideal to use as replacements for worn or stretched cables when doing a service.Well wound with no apparent faults and coated with what seems to be an anti-friction coating or perhaps some form of PTFE.At this price it make sense to keep a couple of packs around as spares.
