Fantastic for the clumsy handed and/or to hold different devices (at different times) and/or to use in different vehicles.I have broken the twiddly bits off more Sat nav holders than I can count, but have met my match with this one. It’s a stand alone clamshell/ clamp device which I found easy to open and your device sits comfortably in a choice of grooves. It’s a heavy base (not sticky) which sat without moving on a my non flat dashboard. I do drive sedately though, I imagine it would shift if you took a corner fast.Test drive both my old garmin and my iPhone in it - both great. When not in use it can be chucked into footwell/stowed away tidily.Fantastic product and well worth the money

Good device, quite heavy, holds Tom Tom firmly, haven't needed to use the adhesive pad so far, arrived on time and well packaged.

I bought this because I wanted something to hold my satnav?I looked at a lot of mounts but they didnt really work in my card due to the glossy dash surface and nothing for the mounts to fit onto safely.It is a fairly weighty mount and I dont know how it stays fixed as the underneath there isnt adhesive in any way but it works in my car and doesnt fall off when I go over rough surfaces or make a tight turn.For me that is the main thing.

Hoped this would be the answer to a sat nav being a long reach from drivers seat in my camper van, also enable front bling to be usable without need for removing sat nav, but would not sit level on dash, if I used sticky plate still had to remove teh sat nav form holder to shut blind and it was still a reach from drivers seat to set destination. Sadly not a good one for me but i am sure it works well in correct environment.
