I have outfitted my Panasonic S5iiX with ALL accessories from Neewer because their quality is top notch and they are better priced than the other popular brand accessories. This follow focus is no exception. The sturdiness is great, it has great performance and feel when I’m adjusting focus, and it looks great! I would recommend getting the additional larger gear-wheel, especially with smaller DSLR lenses. I don’t notice any play in the focus wheel, and it allows for precision focusing. One thing: if you notice any slipping of gears while using a rubber focus ring, you might have a slightly too small ring for your lens. If it stretches too much when you put it on it will throw off the spacing of the gear teeth. One thing I love about this follow focus unit is the curved adjustment arm, as opposed to a straight one. It seems to displace pressure better than the straight arms. If you need options, you can remove the outside half of the arm and clamp it to your camera rod at the place where the adjustable joint is. I do this when I mount it upside down using a top/side rail.

I am using this gear with a smallrig follow focus and I am happy to say it works. This larger gear helps you turn focus much faster than the smaller gears included with most follow focus systems. Main advantage is rather than making multiple hand turns you can do one turn without removing your hand from the wheel!This includes the screw and locked into place without issue.

SmallRig F40,F60 に取り付けて使っていますtamron50-400のズーム操作で使っているのだがギア43枚だと若干ギクシャクしていたが、38枚にしたらかなりスムースになりました安かったし大満足です

This is a simple product but a good one. The build quality is excellent, it comes with the locking screw so you can install (if you want) two different sized gears at the same time (the smaller one won't be usable) and the gears mesh nicely. Tested on the Neewer Mini Follow Focus, it allows quicker adjustments for lenses that have really long focus throws.
