I switched from Asus Zenwifi to this Netgear set. All my problems were over. No more outages, no more disconnects on the backhaul. You can’t adjust as many parameters as with Asus, but who cares. Relax and forget that it’s there. A very happy customer.

N.a.v. de recensies dit duo pack aangeschaft. Ondanks de mooie filmpjes haal ik binnen mijn huis niet de dekking die wordt beloofd. Ik moet er helaas dus nog een extra gaan bestellen. Op elke verdieping 1. De snelheid is overigens prima te noemen, als de dekking goed is is de snelheid super.

Prima apparaat en doet wat het moet doen..ECHTER, Bij KINDER CONTROLE extra BEVEILIGINGn, moet maandelijks bijbetaald worden.De service is werkelijk belabberd bij Netgear.voor een router van deze prijsklassen is een maandelijks betaling OPLICHTING voor iets simpels als je kinderen kunnen beschermen met Internet tijd.Router is retour afzender, nu een Asus AX8 gekocht, alles gratis en misschien nog wel beter ....en goedkoper.

Ce système mesh haut de gamme offre une couverture Wi-Fi impressionnante et des performances exceptionnelles.Contrairement à ce que l'on pourrait penser d'un système aussi sophistiqué, l'installation a été d'une simplicité remarquable. L'application Orbi guide l'utilisateur pas à pas, et en moins de 15 minutes, tout était opérationnel. La synchronisation entre le routeur principal et les satellites se fait automatiquement.Le design blanc et épuré des modules Orbi s'intègre parfaitement dans n'importe quel intérieur. Malgré leur puissance, les appareils sont relativement compacts et peuvent être placés discrètement sur une étagère.La sécurité n'a pas été négligée avec l'intégration de NETGEAR Armor qui protège tous les appareils connectés contre les menaces en ligne.Le Netgear Orbi 850 représente certes un investissement conséquent, mais après l'avoir utilisé, je considère qu'il s'agit d'un achat pleinement justifié pour quiconque recherche une solution Wi-Fi performante, fiable et pérenne. I've used Netgear routers for many years now and decided on an upgrade of my netgear router as I now have full fibre (fttp) I began by reading the reviews and found there are quite a few reviewers complaining how difficult it was to set up and unreliable weak signal and so on. I was quite suprised by the many reported issues especially setting up the router as my netgear products have always been very good. I chose to ignore the negative reviews based on my own positive previous experience with netgear routers and network switches and purchased this orbi6 router with 1 satellite though expected to have to use the web portal if i should run into difficulty. This was not the case. Having unboxed it and downloaded the app. I followed the very clear step by step istallation instructions using the app. Turning off the power to the modem and powering on again. Plugging in my new equipment and continuing the step by step instructions. You will reach a point on the app where it will state it is unable to connect to the internet and then select advanced option. (This is because it requires a username and password. Read on) You have two options of type of service. Mine is fibre so i selected PPPoE. You are then asked to type in a username and password. This is normal because most service providers require a username and password to connect and this is not the one that is on your new router so don't type that in.. i'm with bt and their username is bthomehub@btbroadband.com and their password is BT. This is a universal password for bt and applies to any router over standard copper internet and fibre optic internet. Type that in and shortly after it will connect to the internet and update your driver hardware to the latest version. It is that simple.. you are now connected completely at this point. if you are with any other service provider just google thier internet access username and password. Just remember not to rush and read each step on the app and don't type in incorrect information. You should probably take 15 to 20 mins tops to do this. About the orbi6 router.. it is extremely effecient and stable with a reliable strong wifi signal. I'm on 950mbs down load and 110mbs upload and boy is it quick. Remember though... you won't get that speed to any single device as it shares the speed between all connected devices and shares it intelligently so wave goodbye to buffering and drop outs. This is a piece of kit to marvel at. I highly recommend this router and satellite

Absolutes top Produkt zu einem "top" Preis. Natürlich muss jeder für sich selbst entscheiden, ob Wifi 6 und der kommende ax Standard ihm dieses Geld wert sind....... Ich konnte jedenfalls nicht widerstehen und das "Teil" ist echt der Hammer. Der ORBI RBK50 war ja schon klasse, aber mit über 30 WLAN Clients im Netz einschließlich IoT's etwas überlastet. Die Verarbeitung ist absolut top, mega wertig, weniger Plastik als der RBK50 und die Leistung ist sagenhaft schnell. Ich habe bei meinem ISP einen Anschluss von 200/50 und diese Leistung wird nun in wirklich jeder Ecke von 140 qm² auf einer Ebene bereitgestellt. Das IPhone 11 ProMax mit ax Wifi glüht richtig, besonders Streaming und die NestCams sind richtig schnell geworden, überhaupt keine lags mehr. Die Einrichtung war etwas tricky, da direkt geupdatet wurde und der Satellite auf der alten Firmware stehen blieb und dadurch alles einmal komplett zurückgesetzt werden musste. In der ORBI App unter IOS fehlen ab und zu die Clients, war beim RBK50 aber auch schon so.Fazit: Mega top WLAN, zukunftssicher durch ax Standard, wertiger (Alu Chassis), leider heftiger Preis. Kaufempfehlung!
