I'm trying to switch the F* keys to act like proper function keys (F1-F12 as opposed to controlling volume, brightness, etc.). This is critical for software development because modern IDEs make extensive use of the function keys as shortcuts.On every other keyboard I've ever owned, I was able to go into my Mac's Keyboard settings and toggle a switch to make this work. Not this one, it's too special.According to their website I have to run some open-source program called "usevia.app" to make this trivial change. This involves downloading a JSON file from somewhere else, uploading it to VIA, and modifying the setup on the keyboard manually. An astounding level of complexity for such a simple thing.Worse yet, it DOESN'T WORK for this keyboard. I've emailed the manufacturer for support, but if they don't respond by EOD tomorrow I'll just ship it back. This is so dumb.

This keyboard is not bad and the sound of the keys is great. The spacing and organization of the keys is tough to get used to. The wakeup is also difficult that even after a short time you will start type and the first couple of keys are not registered. I also miss my volume knob.

Ok keyboard but does not wake up to capture first keystrokes. Very annoying to say the least.Finally just gave up and switched to Apple magic keyboard.....so much more reliable. So buyer beware.

Funny thing is I actually thought I was downgrading when my Logitech g915 to this board but I am extremely happy. I love the low profile feeling combined with the pre-lubed switches. I don't know if I would call this full creamy but it is definitely close. Way better typing experience than with my g915.I plan on keeping this board for a while, now I just have to decide if I am going to mod it at all. I for sure will be picking up a couple of keycap sets.
