Following a long search for rash guards for children/'tweens', and on the advice of other reviews, I purchased this rash guard in 2 different colours, size 16 for a VERY slim 12-year-old boy.This item BARELY FITS! Managing to be both SHORT on the body AND very RESTRICTIVE in WIDTH.There is NO WAY that this would fit a 16-year-old.The lettering appears to be very 'peelable', and I do not believe it will last long on the fabric; the items have been purchased for swimming, and having just received, I am unsure how it will withstand the rigors of chlorine and longevity. Will update when I get a chance.Fairly disappointed so-far, and in my opinion, I believe that it would be useful for Amazon, to maybe list this products sizing, relative to the products of other brands AND/OR have models, so that customers can maybe have a better idea of the sizing?REALLY STUPID SIZING, I'm actually fairly stunned at how truly miniscule this item is, so much so, that I had to check the product label several times to ensure I had ordered the correct size. There is no way my 12-year-ol can stick with this brand moving forwards (unless they do adult sizes).Positives? Colours are bright and vibrant.If purchasing: SIZE UP.
